This is my early and very rough draft of a proposed proclamation or resolution on the Utah Crossing's bridge. It is late and I am tired, but I wanted to get this into discussion and consideration as soon as possible. I am open to any and all proposed changes to this. I do want this proclamation or resolution to have the full support of the council, so I am willing to make what ever changes are necessary to get everyone on board.
Feel free to comment or add… Continue

Today I got to participate in Sen. Mark Madsen’s paint ball fund raiser. After experiencing the event, I am convinced more than ever that Mark is a genius. He had the perfect activity and invited the right people to play paintball in a perfect place in Eagle Mountain. The location was just south of the new 2 million gallon water tank in Hidden Canyon. I told Mark that he needs to do this as an annual event, because as soon as people that didn’t go hear about it, they will want to go next… Continue

The 4 to 1 vote by the Eagle Mountain City Council took the legal step of allocating all of those 16,500 acre feet for use in Eagle Mountain.

I am so happy at how the Redwood Road expansion from Bangerter all the way down to Pony Express Parkway. We have had to put up with a narrow and poorly maintained Redwood Road for over 12 years. At long last, after many years of blood, sweat, and tears we finally have a wide open road.
I spoke to Utah County Commissioner Steve White when he attended the Town Hall meeting in Eagle Mountain last week about the new and improved Redwood Road.… Continue

Accountability is the most important factor in determining the success of representative government. Without accountability government becomes detached and aloof. Without accountability government becomes the master and not the servant.
This is a subject that I discuss frequently. I also hear candidates running for office that talk about the importance of accountability. However, once elected, some officials forget and avoid accountability. There are… Continue
