It finally happened, I voted differently than my constituents voted in a survey ...

I made a big deal about how out of the 20+ surveys that I took of the voters in Saratoga Springs and Eagle Mountain, that my votes in the State Legislature were 100% in sync with those that I represent. Results from Constituent Survey about AG John Swallow

These are the results of the survey that I conducted of my constituents. This was the most participated survey on my site since the survey about overriding Gov. Herbert's veto of HB76 "Constitutional Carry" bill.

The "Other" responses to the question were:

  1. I'm only concerned that he not investigate himself. That should never…

Infographic about allegations against AG John Swallow

In my conversation with voters, I am asked what are the allegations that have been made against Attorney General John Swallow. I frequently can't remember them. Sutherland Institute has put them all together in a single (but very large) graphic.

Discussion of Caucus Strengths and Weaknesses with Thomas Price and John Dugall on Facebook

Thomas Daniel Price Sen. Bennett's disposal isn't a reason in and of itself. The caucus is simply flawed, and that was one manifestation of the flaws.

David E. Lifferth Tom, I still need to respond to the your blog post about the caucus system. Sorry that it has taken so long

John Dougall Bennett's loss was not a flaw. He became quite unpopular at the time due to championing the bailouts and federal earmarks.…

I look forward to the Eagle Mountain Pony Express parade each year. I try to have lots of fun and involve lots of my friends in the process. For many of the years that I have been involved, I have had a water theme. However, this is the first year that I have actually had water in my parade entry.

This year I had my cousin Zack put a waterproof tarp in the back of his…
