Excellent Video that makes the legal and financial case for Utah to recover its lands from the Federal Govt.

This is an important Utah state cause that Rep. Ken Sumsion and Rep. Ken Ivory are leading. It is important to understand that the Federal Government is starving education in Utah out of billions of dollars.


Please pass this information along to your friends and the parents with children in the Utah education system.

New Precinct Maps for Saratoga Springs and Eagle Mountain

Today the new precinct maps for Saratoga Springs and Eagle Mountain were released on the Utah County web site.  As Bryan Thompson told me a couple of weeks ago, Saratoga Springs now has 8 precincts (up from 6) and Eagle Mountain now has 9 (up from 6).  These additional precincts are created as a result of the growth over the past 10 years as documented by the 2010 US Census.

Observations from Meet the Candidate Night January 31, 2012

I was invited to one of the largest Meet the Candidate events held so far in the 2012 election cycle. Almost every candidate for Governor, Congress (Districts 2&4), and Senate was in attendance except for Governor Herbert and Senator Hatch. I am not sure why these incumbents were not there and I didn’t hear an official reason.

I took my wife, who is considering running to be a delegate. I appreciated her insight into the candidates that we spoke with. She had some observations…
