Linda Peterson had a baby boy on Friday 1/9/09

Congratulations to Linda Peterson, Eagle Mountain's Community Relations Coordinator, who gave birth to a healthy 8 pound 3 ounce baby boy on Friday, January 9, 2009.

During Linda's maternity leave, Donna Milakovic is temporarily filling in for her.

Blog: Draper Utah Temple Open House





Local Elected Officials were invited to an open house at the Draper Utah Temple prior to the official open house beginning next week. My wife and I enthusiastically accepted the tickets. It was a rough year for real estate in Utah County. But it has improved. Overall, Home Sales in Utah County were down by 24.77 % and Utah County has an average of 11.26 months of active inventory. The average price of homes sold dropped by more than 5%. Unless something drastic happens, Utah County Real Estate will likely still have a buyers market through 2009.

I think that one of the changes that we can expect from the Obama administration is a change from the decisive action that we observed during the Bush administration.



George W. Bush was decisive and resolute in his actions. He saw moral issues and took action on what he saw as right. W was resoundingly criticized by domestic and international pundits that did not approve of his decisive action.
